Crafting each hat is an exciting journey, especially when it comes to the dying process. What makes it truly rewarding is the element of the unknown; regardless of the material, each hat reveals a distinct outcome. As I explore the realm of colors, I've come to appreciate that the greatest joys arise from the depths of doubt. It's an exciting revelation that the more uncertainty I encounter during the hat's transformation, the greater the ultimate reward. When the process presents challenges and moments where a hat seems destined for failure, doubt inevitably creeps in. Yet, within these moments of uncertainty, I explore new techniques, both on and with the hat itself. Surprisingly, what emerges from this journey is a creation far surpassing any initial imagination—a testament to the boundless possibilities placed within each dye-soaked fiber.
